new feeder

i was going to try to feed my water dragon some fish and was wondering what the best way to do it was. should I put them in the water? or should I just throw them down in front of him? also when is a good size to start feeding pinkies?

I would throw the fishies in some water and let him catch them, nothing to deep though.

word thats what ill do but what type of fish? i have some minnows that I just bought for the first time. but I was going to get some goldfish but I dont know does anyone else here feed fish to there water dragon?

I would start with the minnows first, to see how it goes for them, then switch to feeder gold fish . As far as the pinkie goes, I would wait till its at least a year to adult size.

ya thats what I thought I think hes a year now and the woman at the pet shop that I got him from said he should be able to eat day old pinkies but I think im gunna wait. what would happen if the feeder was to big? like with a pinkie.

Day old pinks should be fine, I wouldnt chance something to much bigger, he could choke and cut off the air supply.
