    Blood in the urates or....

    ...something else?

Lately (in the past two or three weeks or so; I wish I could be more exact) I've noticed a bit of pink in Heebeejeebee's urates. His (yeah, it turned out "she" was male <3) stools seem all right. A couple of months ago he didn't seem to be defecating regularly, but he's fine now (and I think a lot of that was just that he was eating it >_<.)

The urate is not entirely pink, and only occasionally is it pink at all. When it is, it's perhaps half-pink. I'm trying to figure out if it's a specific food I feed him. I would venture mice, but he hasn't had one in several days and he just passed a half-pinkish urate. Should I take him to the vet's, or is this normal? (I've already taken him to the vet's needlessly twice, but it's been a few months, so I'm on a roll :P )

I would probably suggest taking a stool sample to the vet for a check up, better to be safe than sorry. Is it all the time or just occassionally.
