our new cwd

my boyfriend and I recently got a chinese water dragon, he seems fairly young and is only about 12-14'' in length. He is lives in a 29 gal aquarium and seems very happy. He seems fairly lazy compared to some of the posts I have read and how active some of your cwds are. We put some small fishing net on the back side of his aquarium and he loves to hammock in the droops in the top of the net. His diet so far has been crickets, the most he has ate is 2 in one day, some days he doesn't eat any is this normal? He just ate his first goldfish 2 days ago. How often should we be feeding him and what should his diet look like? He has a water dish and I just moved it over his heat pad to help with humidity in his cage, I read about doing this here yesterday. The temp was at 82 degrees when I checked it this morning, is this to warm for him?

TIA, any advice is helpful.

Jessica
