Should I Be Concerned?

Hello All,
One of my water dragons (I believe it's Miyagi, the male one) has been pooping anywhere but his pool for about a week now. He used to poop in his pool, and I don't know why he's not anymore. I keep the pool clean on a daily basis. Does this mean there might be something wrong with him or is he just being a pain in the butt? Thank you in advance for your input!

I would venture to say being a pain in the butt...do reptiles go thru a rebelious stage..well I know Bearded Dragons do, not sure about WD's, lol. Maybe they are just testing you.

haha, ok. I'll definately take that into consideration. The poop looks healthy and full, so maybe I'll just continue to clean up after him and hope he quickly goes through the phase.

Actually right around puberty some reptiles tend to flip out and start acting crazy. I know my gold skinks do that, as did my Crested Geckos (as much as a crestie can flip out, which isn't alot). Sometimes they poop on things to cover the smell too...I had a peice of Devonian reef rock (that had the smell of sulphur when freshly broken) for a while. It was cleaned and sterilized, but they pooped on that rock religiously until I removed it at the end of my experiment. Neat eh?

Hrm, my Heebee started pooping outside the water ever since Dad put in her "cookie sheet lake." Maybe she doesn't like that? I'll try taking it out; I've put in a kitty litter pan for her so she has more room.
