These lights are a leader among other UV producing fluorescents on the market. They emit **low level UVB to aid your reptile with calcium absorption. These lights can be used with any species that requires UVB exposure.

It is crucial that the reptile be able to come within 10" of the bulbs surface in order for the UVB output to be effective. The light must not be impaired or blocked by glass or fine mesh. Screening between the reptile and the light should not fall below 1/4" openings.
