Tail rot?
I've never had a problem with tail rot before but my female has black spots on her tail that look like small burn marks that resemble charcoal. They are definitely not burn marks though.Anyone know what tail rot looks like?

The second pic almost looks like there is some stuck on shed on the side of the tail. How have her sheds been lately.
Tail rot or dry gangrene usually starts at the tip of the tail and slowly creeps upward. The tissue dries out and becomes very hard ... there is noticable shrinkage in size/diameter of the affected area. The area often becomes black or grey .. or at least a much duller colour that normal.
In your first pic it's hard to tell if the damage is all the way around the circumference of the tail. The portion over your wrist looks to have the most damage. Uromastyx sometimes get a disease known as blister disease. Do you remember how this started?
Either way, whether it's dry gangrene or blister disease you need to treat it aggressively. Systemic antibiotics (oral, injectable) are often used, amputation in the case of dry gangrene (well above affected area), and topical treatment (betadine soaks for bacterial and fungal infections that cause blister disease + antibiotics).
I think you should schedule a vet appt ASAP. Treat it quickly before it gets worse.
