Tail Shed Question

Hi

I am new to this board and have a question about Mali's. Do they always shed their tail during each shedding period? We just experienced our Mali's first shed since getting her 2 1/2 months ago and the body shed great. She finished it all in about 2 weeks. It's now been another 2 weeks and I haven't noticed the tail shedding. She seems in great spirits and is eating and running around like crazy. What could the problem be? Also does anyone have pictures of what a tail shed looks like? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Jenny

Re: Tail Shed Question

Uros tend to shed for what seems like continually. A piece here or a piece there.

Re: Tail Shed Question

Ok thanks...so she's normal? Her tail could shed a month later and that is no problem? I just want to be 100% sure. Thanks!

Re: Tail Shed Question

Since I'm not there to see it exactly. You need to make your own conclusions.
