My New Setup Minus Half the Sand

I rearranged my setup to only have sand on the hot side. also got some new sand today from lowes its a new one that just came out they say and got to say really impressed. it was still a bit moist in the bag but I spreaded some out in the sun and it dryed in a hour. they deffinatley sifted it better as there were no large pieces at all. kind of reminded me of siesta key neach over here on the west coast of florida near my house. kinda a powder light white sand. Also there was literally no dust. i ran out of the slate on the left side so I got to get some more to finish it off. his back feet are shedding so that is why they look weird on the overhead pic. kinda like the weird look he is givin the camera (sayin dont block the megaray moron).

Re: My New Setup Minus Half the Sand

Nice setup. Watch the surface temps on the slate however. It is fantastic for holding heat but as it does the temps can get extremely high.

Re: My New Setup Minus Half the Sand

Looks great! The only thing I would say is that if he can't get under those platforms, you'll probably need to get him a hide. But it looks like he's got a lot of room to run and play in.
