Spikes on the tail

This is what our member has to say: If a young mali has a couple spikes missing from it`s tail would they ever grow back?...

Re: Spikes on the tail

No they won't regenerate. The real question is how they were lost. Is it a row of spikes missing?

Re: Spikes on the tail

Could have died off from a retained shed. Tails seem to the sensitive area on most Uros. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of info on the health issues of the tail area. I've looked into it before and can't seem to find much conclusive info.
