People assume that because someone is working in the pet industry that they would know a bit more than the average person. In reality most of them know a lot less than the rankest beginner! Their "knowledge" is based on what they have been told by the store. It is predicated, not on what is good or necessary for the animal, but what is the best for making sales.

ive heard that u shouldnt use a uvb tube light and you should get a light thats heat and uva/b he said it has 180 amps of da uva stuff. and the tube lights hat 3-10. im not sure if this is true but thats wat a successfull breader told me.

You have gotten a bit confused. Tube lights are perfectly fine to use. They have been used for many species for many years. You do have to use a heat source with florescent tube.
Amps is a measure of electricity, not light.
It is UVB you need to be concerned with not UVA. Any UVB lamp also produces UVA but the reverse is not true.
