I was hoping you could solve this riddle for me.

Maize was sort of a rescue from a girl bound for college, who'd left him with her parents. They gave me this whole setup and instructions for care and feeding (which turned out to be wrong for the most part), but they had no idea what breed it was.

At first I thought he was a Mali, but after looking closer at pictures of breeds, I think he might be a Benti. Actually I'm not even sure "he" might not be a "she". The girl's parents didn't seem to know much about him, and I had not cared for Uros previously.

He's a sweetheart, though. I've done gobs of research and changed his care around. But I'm still not 100% sure if I'm right about the breed. If you guys could help me out with that, I'd be greatful.

Yes I'm pretty sure that's a Mali. As for the sex???? Mali's are not very easy to distinguish.

I would say possibly an ornate if colors were brighter, but I am def. going to have to say mali!! The ornate babies, can sorta look like that but that is no baby anymore!! Haha!! Looks very nice.
