Yah, Jayr, I know you have been wanting one for awhile, I am so glad you got it. Let just say they like it hot, 120.00 basking area, they like hides and enjoy burrowing. Mine also like to hibiscus leaves and flowers.

good choice! loo I love the little buggers, My Mali's like a scaly chipmunk.
They like to sleep in funny and uncomfortable looking posotions
Grean peas are great for getting a stubburn Uro to eat
they can have a dish of finch food I founf that was the best way to get my mali to eat his calcium, he wouldnt take t on his greans but didnt care if it was on the finch food

Mine love dandelion flowers.Watch out for impaction in hatchlings.I'd keep him on paper towel for another month then switch to a finely sifted sand. After 6 months or so you can introduce a soil based substrate that he can dig burrows in.ENJOY

I've heard people say they are kind of clumsy and slow--yeah right.Put him down on the floor you'll see him go.My youngest Mali is also a bit of an escape artist. When I first got him he scaled up onto the fluorescent fixture then maneuvered across the electrical cord and out a hole.Clumsy---I don't think so.

thought of another
They will flip out if you take them outside, i almost lost my mali. he literally became a brown blur. the second time I tryed a leash and my normal lump of a sweet guy was hissing at me and threating me and then he lodged himself under a log that borders the walkway, and we had to did him out becuase the log isattached to other logs.
digging him out wasnt easy him inflated as large as he could and curled his tail around so we couldnt grab him, we tryed to dig out the other end but that just got us a mouth waiting to bite. He's never going out again unless he's in a cage
