Males are 13-16 inches and females 11-14 inches.Some can get bigger then 13 inches.Mine is around 2 years old and is 9 inches so I'm thinking he may turn out to be bigger then most but he eats allot of food.You could have a few years before the larger enclosure.Then it would also depend on the one you get and how much it eats and grows.They all have different personalities and traits like we do.I also have mine under a mega ray uvb light that's putting out 300 microwatts at 12 inches and he has been growing very well under it.I'll give you a link to the site where you could buy one as they are far better uvb lights then any in stores.It's not easy to tell the sexes apart on young ones so you may just have to wait and see what sex you have as it gets older.
