A vast majority of users online take the internet for granted. While many of them subconsciously realize that someone has created the website, many don't take into consideration the time, energy, and COST of maintaining that website.

Like every other website online, the HC Network costs money to run and maintain. While none of the staff are paid for their services (including me), regular income from the site is required to keep the site live, upgrade the software, pay for hosting, pay for bandwidth, pay for licenses, and to add on to the Network so we can offer more resources.

Member donations help to cover those costs, and they help to show an appreciation for the resources we have made available. While donations from our members are not required, and never will be, they are always appreciated.

Every penny we receive from donations goes into the HC paypal account we have setup. This account is attached to every program we use to pay for licenses and is also attached to our hosting provider. As a fee comes in, I use this account to cover the bill.

When you donate, the funds are deposited directly into this account.

We have chosen PayPal as our donation processor because they are secure. In order for the HC Network to accept donations directly through the site itself, I would be required to purchase additional software to ensure that all credit card information were secure while being processed.

  You can donate to the HC Network directly through our website. We have established and created a donations page that easily allows our members that have a paypal account, or those who wish to use a Credit Card, a simple means of donating.

• Snail Mail
  Some people have asked in the past if we would accept money orders or personal checks as a means for them to supply a donation to the HC Network. That option has now been made available.

  Please don't send cash! Cash is not guaranteed to arrive and as such, it is best if it is never sent at all.

Donation Amount

There is no set donation amount and never will be. Donations are just that, they are donations. A member can donate ANY amount they are comfortable with, or have available. NO DONATION is too small! When thinking of donations, think on an accumulative basis. Your donation is added with anyone else who may have donated. Together, those donations may cover a bill of ours!
