musk stay small I got a few of them

The RES would probably be the cheapest animal, but the most money on setup as they get much larger.

Either of the others stay fairly small.

RES is the WORST, easily, as far as cost.
Mud or musk, definitely.
RES will get to 10-12", depending on gender, requiring a 100 or 120 gallon tank.
Mud or Musk turtles, on the other hand, stay much smaller (<5" in a lot of cases), and require something more like a 40 or 50 gallon tank for an individual turtle.
