This is what our member has to say: What is your favorite breed of turtle and why? Since I don't know very much about the friendlier (hence the post) species I'm gonna go ...

Favorite Breed?
What is your favorite breed of turtle and why? Since I don't know very much about the friendlier (hence the post) species I'm gonna go with the Alligator Snapper. Why? Big, powerful, freaking intimidating why else would a guy like this thing?

I like a wide variety of species. Well, all of them really The Fly River pig-nosed turtle (Carettochelys insculpta) is one of my favorites though. Mata matas are pretty cool too, but there's too many species out there to pick just one for me
