Thanks guys This is the first terrestrial turtle I've ever owned. I'm STILL trying to get him to eat more than just bugs though. So far he loves bugs, but won't touch his veggies. He's like a 5 year old kid

He's georgeous! Very colourful. My boxies won't eat much veggie or fruit wise either. I do find that they tend to eat red coloured fruit and veggies more often though ... so sometimes I give them some tomato, radish, raspberry, strawberry .. things like that.

Cool, I'll have to try that So far I've seen him glance over at bananas and box turtle pellets, cause he'll smell them, but then change his mind I guess.

How about trying to eliminate the bugs for a day...maybe hunger will draw him to the veggies....and coloring them up as said before is also a good idea....Awesome little turtle tho....Lyn

He really is one of the brightest colored turtles that I have seen. Welcome to the family Pyro/Diablo.
