never put your finger infront of a turtles face...
becuase it hurts ALOT when they bite, i was trying to weight kermit on the digital bathroom scale and she wasnt registering so I though maybe if I pushed on it and got it to register something than it would wind down to hurt weight when I let go, i didnt want to push on her shell so I put a had on either side of her and pushed I did this twice trying to get it to work before she snapped. wow that hurt, i didnt pull away but I think it was inly becuase I couldnt, she grabbed on and pulled my hand down to her shell, she actually only hand a very small spot of skin but it flet like she had all the meat infront of the bone. i didnt want to touch her face to try and get her to open her mouth becuase she can pull back into her shell pretty far and I didnt want her to pull anymore.
i was going to wait for her to let go, but my parent wouldnt let me, i guess becuase I was crying and yelling everytime she squeezed. i was mostly afraid my dad was going to hurt her, he was sooo angry. he did eventually spray her in the face with a water bottle and she let go, i poured alot of peroxide over my little circular cut put her back and washed my hands. and laughed at my self for being an idiot. Im going to have to stick a sign on her tank that says " I Bite"
it feels sort of like having a large fishing hook in your finger and trying to get it out
