Hmm, its hard to tell if her shed's going right. What's that white stuff? I don't think its going too bad, but it does look like its not coming off easily. Her shell is extremely green too. Algae? Judging by those pics though, I'd say Kermit is a female.

I agree with Furryscaly.
The white stuff is a little scary, but if your water is like mine, there's a lot of mineral deposits in it, and dried turtle shell gets white flakes on it...looks like turtle dandruff.
If it isn't mineral deposits from the water, or calcium flakes from her habitat, it might be a more serious issue. Also, my RES Ziggy (female too) has never looked that green. Might be a good idea to take after her with an old tooth brush to scrub her up, and flake off any scutes that are barely hanging on, and might be harboring bacteria, etc.

I guess an updates in order
I re-named her Cash
She's currently living in a 120 gallon tank running a filstar xp3 anda jebocfs4 is in the mail and will be added. She's eating and basking regularly the white stuff is gone( I dont know what it was) and that green was all algae dryed on to her shell. She has a questionable area on the bottom her her shell that will be checked out when we go to the vet ( I need to call and ask about a bulk visit for the herps) I cant find any soft spots but its darker the tha rest of her

Jade,
Thanks for the update, silly me, I didn't look at the date to see how old the thread was. Glad to hear she's doing well. Good luck at the vet!
