I adopted two yellow belly sliders from a woman who obviously wasn't doing something right.
She had a UVB and basking light.. but still their shells are bumpy. I don't know their age but one is about 4 inches and the other is about 6 inches.
I figured it was from too much protein. The woman only fed them pellets (although, 2 types of them.. so at least she was TRYING... just not researching I guess)...

Well, these guys (girls?) love anacharis, endive, collard greens and mustard greens... so I've been giving them big ol' helpings of those.. but will this correct the problem or keep it from getting worse? Any chance of their shells being normal?
