What Species of Turtles?

I need help to identify what species of turtle are in these two photos. I think the first photo are 2 Florida Cooter turtles and the bottom photo is a Florida Redbelly turtle. I took these photos several months ago here in Florida. I'm using the photos in a calendar I am creating for the reptile club I belong to. I want to be sure I have correctly identified the turtles.

Re: What Species of Turtles?

The last one is definitely a Florida red-bellied cooter, Pseudemys nelsoni. The first two are harder. They look like young adults, not displaying typical worn adult colors nor fresh juvenile colors. They could be Florida cooters, Pseudemys floridana. I forget how which Pseudemys species are found in FL, I'll have to take a look.

Re: What Species of Turtles?

Thanks for your help. I've compared a FL Cooter photo from a Florida reptile field guide, the stripes on the head and neck look similar, however the pattern on the shell has me puzzled. I need to see more photos of different age Cooters.
Our reptile club is having a meeting this wednesday, there are 2 turtle experts that can hopefully help.
