They are cute! What are those spots on her shell? Are they soft or becoming soft?

That picture of Sunny is great! I'm also curios about those spots on Shadows shell though.

Re: Here are pictures of my turtles and hamster!
so cute. Nice set up for them. BTW I don't think they need substrate, just few nice basking spots on dry land.
Do you have a UVB bulb for them? What are your temps in the basking spot?

Sky has some spots because I rescued her from two twin brothers(both about six years old) who might have drawn on her with some permanent marker
Shadow has those white spots because he likes to scratch his shell on the big orange rock, lol , so the color kinda rubs off. If that's bad if he's scratching his shell, please inform me!
I'm glad you guys like the pictures, thanks for the replies

Yes, they have a UVB bulb. The temps ar...about 84 degrees fahrenheit.

Re: Here are pictures of my turtles and hamster!
They're one of my favorite animals, but it's pretty expensive to keep them. Adults have to be kept in at least a 120gallon tank! They are very messy, so they need powerful filters. They MUST have UVB light for their shells. With the proper care, they could live up to 60 years, so buying one is not a light commitment.
I still recommend you get one, though, they are really fun!
