    Wild Snapping Turtle laying eggs

    Hello

I am new here. I am a 15 year old nature photographer. I have loved reptiles all of my life, and although I do not have any herps as pets I did have 2 lizards and a python throughout my life.

I found this female snapping turtle back in May in my dad's yard. She was looking for a spot to drop her eggs, and luckily I had my camera with me. If this is wrong for this forum, please forgive me. Thanks!
