Well my husband (Marty) got a call back from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) regarding getting a permit for the Eastern Box Turtles we want to adopt. Marty is the turtle person. The three have been in captivity so long; the DNR representative did see a problem with us getting the permit. This should take about 2 weeks and then the three Box Turtles can come to their new home. We are also picking up some Millipedes and an adult corn snake from the school. There loss is or gain, it is sad to see a herp program disappear but I did tell the woman at the school if she wanted to do a program this summer to let me know and I would be happy to help out.
