hi all, I currently have two RES and one has been keeping one eyes closed and it looks swollen. there looks like a white marks around the head. there are no spots on the shell or anywhere else on its body. any ideas of what I could do for the eye?

When in doubt always visit a vet. It sounds like alot of things could be going on and it may require antibiotics to fix. if you don't have a regular vet you can check out www.herpvetconnection.com or www.arav.org .

Also you might list your husbandry specifics so other more experienced members can help.

Yeah, a good vet check up would be best. I'm not so great with the veterinary stuff myself. As Lacey said, a rundown of your turtle's habitat might provide a clue as to what caused this and how it can be prevented in the future though.
