What Kind of Frogs Do I Have?

This past summer I found tadpoles in my pool because the tarp fell in during the winter. I put them all in a tank and now they have become frogs, but I have no clue what types they are. These are the pictures. I have identified some as the grey tree frogs, but what are the ones with the brown up the middle of their backs?

I don't know much about frog/toads, so hopefully someone will be by, but by looking at the link below it may be a southern grey tree frog! Here is a link with photo

It would help if you provided a location

They do appear to be grey treefrogs--one of my personal favorite species. Just wait until they grow up!

    Thanks, lady

If they were found in south Jersey they can be one of two species of gray treefrog--Northern Gray or Southern/Cope's Gray, the latter being listed as an endangered species by the state. However, though it's tough to tell from the photo, the fourth image could be a Pine Barrens treefrog, which are also on the endangered species list for NJ.

A few if them really look like copes gray tree frogs, which take on MANY different looks. I would wait a few more months for them to mature a little bit more, their color may not all be in yet.

Identification of grays is difficult because they do a slow form of camo and can range from a bright green pale gray. I'm pretty new at this having found one in my basement, but I always look at the bottom of the legs for the yellow. Works for me.

grey tree frogs! these things keep me up every night after it rains, if it feels like you have a surround-sound blasting in your room at night, blame it on them.
