Check out the fatties!
Thought I'd post some updated pics of our white's tree frogs - I've just written an article about them for Ultimate Exotics mag (South Africa) so they're famous!!
Kermit, we believe, is the only male, while Miss Piggy is def. female and Bill and Ben we believe to be females as well. Kermit is still on his own, as he only weighs 34g, while Bill and Ben are 56 and 60g, and Miss Piggy is a whopping... 97g! Yep, she is on a diet,.. typical whites - overweight, lazy, greedy! Pics = 1)Kermit, 2)Ben, 3)Bill - the brown one, with Ben in the background, and 4)Miss Piggy - you can see where we got her name from! ![]()

Ooo, I love the bluish ones like Ben. There's a green strain and a blue strain, and one's from Australia and the other from New Guinea (or some other island nearby), I just can never remember which strain is from where!

Thanks Matt.. I prefer the blue/green colouration too, sometimes it's a beautiful colour that would be impossible to replicate. The other three tend to stay darker, although Bill sometimes changes to a blue/green too. The blue/green phase is more common in the Indonesian specimens, and they also tend to give greater impression of obesity, however I think Miss Piggy shows the greatest impression of obesity for them all!

Wow! nice pictures. White's are the best!
Are those bendable branches that you are using? I have always wanted to try those but I was afraid the syrface was too abrrasive for their skin. What do you think rachel? Btw fuse, it just depends on a lot of things. The color could be from the area that the frog is from, amount of light, or stress. That particular frog is probably just a little stresses from being weighed. My Whites goes brown every night, but when I turn the lights on he usually turns back to normal greenish blue in a few munutes. It's just because they turn brown in the dark.
