Thats the stuff you all advised me to take out of my tank due to it possibly causing a compaction in the frogs intestines if eaten.

I hope mine will be as big as that one day. By the way I am the person with Ribbit, the frog with the sagging jaw, nothing has changed yet but this new flooring certainly gives him a fighting chance with the crickets cos the little buggars can't hide between the pebbles, he caught 3 last night by himself. Such a load off my mind!

haha you're lucky that there isn't much in the water. My fire bellied toads will dive at a cricket, miss, & get a face full of dirt. What do they do next? Get bored & jump in the water. Drives me crazy.

Re: Substrate for Frog Tank Flooring
Yes I can see how that will drive you mad OrlandoMajic27 I have a removeable water dish, I would love a waterfall and pond but I am still unsure how hard it is to keep the viv clean.I would hate to spend the money on a pump then find out I have to strip the tank every week,I am stilll very new to this

Re: Substrate for Frog Tank Flooring
Yeah mine's revovable too. I'm also new at this. I only have my babies Marshall & Phillip, but I just re-did the tank. Huge water bowl, lots of plants, the works. I'll put pics up of the fire-bellied toad's & their setup soon. haha my bad. I totally just hijacked your thread. Ok I'm done now.
