Re: White's Tree Frogs
Oh I was just wondering why there is a Tree Frog and Toad section but not one for Frogs like Bullfrogs and Green frogs? Do those have to go in the general frog section?

Re: White's Tree Frogs
Yeah, you can just shlep them into the "general" category. This site is always changing. If we get enough threads going to warrant another section, it will get added.

Re: White's Tree Frogs
Mine are never green like that. They're always brown, sometimes dark green.

Re: White's Tree Frogs
Some are just darker than others. They come in various shades. I have one who is bright green and almost never changes color, then there is grace who goes from brown to medium light green for no apparent reason.

Re: White's Tree Frogs
same with mine, they seem to be brown during the day and green at night.
Humidity is kept between 65% and 80%
Day temp is about 84 - 87 depending on the room temp.
Night temp is about 74 - 76 again depending on room temp.
Tank size is a well flourished 29. I have pics of it in my tank post.
Petco advertised them as the Australian species... maybe they're Indonesian?

Re: White's Tree Frogs
Yes, i believe the Indonesian species are the browner ones, and the light green ones and/or blue phase are Australian.
I also saw in our frog exhibit at the national aquarium in Baltimore, they had what was labeled a Mexican dumpy tree frog, which my Greenie looks exactly like.
