Gnats |
| This is what our member has to say: wellll, i have gnats in my Whites Tree Frog tank. i just cleaned it 2 weeks ago so I don't know where they are coming ... |

Gnats
wellll, i have gnats in my Whites Tree Frog tank. i just cleaned it 2 weeks ago so I don't know where they are coming from. i have two live plants and am using sphagnum moss. where could they be coming from?

I get them occasionally as well. They love the moisture. They are just annoying if they get into the house...lol Hard to chase those little suckers down.  I have seen my dragons try to catch them...pretty comical.

I sure do. I get an outbreak when I replace the substrate. They usually go away after that.

how funny!!! haha I wish I could see that going on!
well at least they aren't bad, just sucks having to deal with them in there. thanks for letting me know guys!

I've got several annoying gnats that hang around my house plants. I just repotted several seedling plants last week and they seem worse now.

yup, they will. They feed off that yummy top layer of dirt.
