Gnats

This is what our member has to say: wellll, i have gnats in my Whites Tree Frog tank. i just cleaned it 2 weeks ago so I don't know where they are coming ...

Gnats

wellll, i have gnats in my Whites Tree Frog tank. i just cleaned it 2 weeks ago so I don't know where they are coming from. i have two live plants and am using sphagnum moss. where could they be coming from?

i don't know where they come from, but they are harmless.

I get them occasionally as well. They love the moisture. They are just annoying if they get into the house...lol Hard to chase those little suckers down. I have seen my dragons try to catch them...pretty comical.

I sure do. I get an outbreak when I replace the substrate. They usually go away after that.

I've got several annoying gnats that hang around my house plants. I just repotted several seedling plants last week and they seem worse now.

yup, they will. They feed off that yummy top layer of dirt.
