Introducing Monk |
| This is what our member has to say: This is monk, his 2 reasons, he looks like hes meditating all the time and he climbs like a monkey. I would have gotten better ... |

Re: Introducing Monk
ooooh thats a bad you got in there! Make sure you have plenty of water for j=him to soak and mist his tank lots. When he becomes hydrated,, if he still looks skinny and his appetite is not great, get him to the vet and have a fecal done for parasites.

Re: Introducing Monk

Re: Introducing Monk
He has been soaking his bum in his dish, and ive been misting every couple hours, he has a wonderful appitite, last night he ate two small crickets, and grabbed a meal worm right out of my hand. I jumped.... lol... I did leave him a couple meal worms in a dish, and he ate them right out of the dish.... I wish I could get more of my critters to do that! My boyfriend loves him... gave me the whole, your not going to rehome him are you please dont I like him uh its like I have another child lol... I think he is going to be here to stay. Liz... is it just the male red eyes that call?

Re: Introducing Monk
yes, just the males. BUT they are VERY quiet. I never heard mine until the day we had a power outtage. This meant that all the pumps and filters for the fishtank were off, no TV, nothing. And even then I barely heard it.
And mine sit with their bum in the waterdish too. He'll get back to normal soon enough. Glad he is eating. I haven't tried meal worms yet. I probably should.

I can't even begin to describe it, although I have a clock and each hour has a photo of a frog and it croaks a matching croak at the o'clock and the Red Eye Tree Frog croak sounds just like mine!
