I Have Frogs Again.

Well I was putting together a "small" tank for heliamphora (Sun pitcher plants) and though to my self wow this would be nice with some frogs. I really wanted to get a Horned but not for this tank. (I may still be getting one). Though their nothing speical their my first frogs since most all my darts died in the 2003 heatwave.

So heres a pic of one of the pair. American green treefrog.

Re: I Have Frogs Again.

That American green is gorgeous! I love the vibrant color

Oh yeah, and thanks for calling it an American green tree frog. "Green tree frog" applies to a lot of different species, and at least four or five legitimately. It's nice to see someone using the full correct name for once

Good luck on your hunt. I also got a Pacman (C. cranwelli) over the last week I must say for a frog that moves say once a day at most their great. An really don't take much room. I'm sure you'll find what your looking for soon. Take a look to see if you can find Asian Leaf/horned frogs they have soming to them. At least I think, even with dull colors.

I would love to, problem is the weather won't play nice so they haven't been shipped out yet. They should be here with any luck within the month and depending on the size the'll be going right in with the frogs. The'll most likely need abit of time before they do as their probibly tissue cultured and only about 2-4 inches tall at best. They have a large monkey pitcher with them now that will have to do for now but it as the frogs are well fed.
