Re: Bambam
A picture would help, but if its not always, it could either be the dehydration like Sav said, or it could just be that you are catching it right before it sheds...

Re: Bambam
my frogs get wrinkly too sometimes, right around the joints. What does your humidity read?

Re: Bambam
the problem i've been having is my humidity. if I don't mist it every other hour it'll drop down in the high 30's and low 40's. he's in his water dish all the time.
what I need to do is start growing live plants. last night I was searching every where on how to grow them and such but I couldn't find anything. do think you could let me know how to do live plants and what I should use?

Re: Bambam
easiest way to do the live plants is to go to a garden center and get some, bring them home, brush all the loose soil off the roots, and then rinse the plant. This you can plant with out having to worry about pesticides being on it cause anything that would be left on the leaves you would have just rinsed off, same with fertilizer worries. I would go for a Pothos or some kind of hardy ivy plant. Something that looks like it can stand up to being landed on, and doesn't produce any sap like a pine or similar plant would.
Just calcium is fine, dust every 2-3 feedings....

Re: Bambam
I planted all my plants in my wd cage in the eco earth, they seemed to do really well unless over watered, but when the plants grew, the roots wernt sturdy in the eco earth.... You can also get an organic, steril potting soil, without fertilizer or pesticides....and use plastic pots... If you cant find steril soil you can bake organic soil on a cookie sheet in your oven, I forget how long and how hot, but 350 for an hour I think would do it... Someone correct me if im wrong. If your worried about the plants not getting enough light, most will thrive useing the plant and aquarium florecent light tubes. Im not sure if thats ok for your frogs or not, but my plants are doing great under 10.0 uvb florecent tubes.
