for now I have a wet towel covering half. i just got my 50/50 mix in and i'm putting my plants in now. i just have to soak my branches and we'll be good to go!

plastic or duct tape will work better than the damp towel to hold in humidity, and you don;t have to worry about any fire hazards with it up against the light....

wow, that looks so much better!!! I"m sure they will love it! Can't wait to see the branches.
One more thing, it would be a good idea to cover 3 sides of the tank with some aquarium paper. That way it will look nice AND will give them the hiding security they need.

The good thing about those plants is they LOVE the humid and they LOVE the artificial light. All my plants thrive and its really no work.
YOu look like in places you are still a little low on substrate. Pick up one more brick of coco and fill it up!
