I love the frogs, and I know what you are talking about with the chirping, my pac man chirps when it is close to feeding time, I always go in and poor a little bit of water over him to let him know that food is coming, then he pops up and waits, that is the only time he makes any sound, and I am reasonably sure it s the only time he moves.
I am not a big frog person, but I do love my horned frog, he is really unique. If you are looking for one and will be in Myrtle Beach, i have a friend that breeds them, I got mine when he was a little bigger than a quarter, now he is bigger than my fist. I don't think the guy will ship, he is not big on letting go of animals without meeting the people they are going to.
