Caught a Tree Frog

Hello, lone time no see. I was at my grandma's mowing and it seems like every time I mow I always find some little critter I want to catch and take home. Since I have a bunch of extra tanks this isn't a problem. Anyways apon mowing the yar I spotted a little tree frog on the side of her house. It might be a green tree from but I am not sure. I will try to get a picture of it on here soon. So you can help ID it.

I am pretty sure it is some type of green tree frog. Not really sure though. The only frogs I've ever had were bull frogs. Oh if it helps any I found it in Ohio, and I know there is more then one where I found this one. While mowing I saw one and wanted to catch it but by the time I was done he was gone. He was brown. Then, while looking around for him I saw this guy jump out of the bush right next to the one the brown frog was above. They are both different colors and I don't think one could have changed from brown to brightish green in 5 minutes. It kind of looks like a Dumpy because of the stubby nose, but I thought Dumpy frogs came form AUS. Anyways the plant he is on is a little part of the plant I found him on. Not sure of the plant name but if it would help to know the name tell me and I will ask my dad, since he is a gardener. Anyways I hope I can get some anwser as to what type of frog it it.

Hyla cinerea(green tree frog) is not found in your state. it is very hard for me to tell from the pic...especially as I am not familier with North American frogs...but I must try

i would bet on it being a Gray Treefrog, Hyla versicolor. They are known to get a green colour like that in the pic...plus they go a brown colour aswell...so that explains the colour change..lol

the toes are also not green as in the green tree frog...from what I can see that is...lol

Ok, I will look into it and let y'all know what I come up with. Like I said there was more and if I can fnid them I will catch them. My grandma's seems to be a popular place for all types of frogs, toads, insects. I always find stuff when I go there.

Yeah, I was thinking that was what it was as well. Seeing as I saw a brown/greyish looking one. And I looked up on an Ohio Wildlife site and Gray Tree frogs look most like them. Yes his underside is brownish/greyish. I took about 50 pictures and ended up deleteing most of them. So hard to take pictures of critters I swear. Anyways I will try to get a better one and post it.

I decided to name him Kermit. lol I doubt anyone else has named their frog Kermit.

Grr, here we go with another question. It says use dechlorinated water to mist the cage. Can I use AquaSafe? It is used to remove heavy metals and chlorine in fish tanks. Not sure if that would be safe for a frog or not.
