I'm off this weekend to purchase all of my supplies for my first
tortoise. I wanted to make sure that I'm not forgetting anything or
making a mistake with my purchases so I'm posting my shopping list and
was hoping for some feedback from other owners. This is intended to be
an inside enclosure until I can fix up an outside one for summertime
here in Ohio.

100 Gal. Reptarium (16.5" x 30" x 48")
48" Tray for reptarium
Capture the Sun 160 watt bulb
10" deep dome reflector rated for 250 watts
Light stand
Log for hiding under
Water dish for soaking
Water & Food Bowls
Potting Soil
Cuttle Bones

I already have plenty of timothy hay and plan on visiting my local
florist to check into getting some tort safe plants/flowers.

what kind of tort. is it?
what about uv lights?

This is for a Russian Tortoise. Was planning on using the light listed above for heat and uvb/uva

Russians are pretty cool. Check into that light for active UVB before you buy it. There are others out there that are better known. Good luck and post pics when you get him/her.
