How do you intend to house them?

I've been reading up on them recently as I was thinking of purchasing some. What what I've found they said not to house different species together as they host different types of bacteria that should not be passed to other species.
I can't confirm if this is accurate info. Just stating what I read.

    Re: Greek and Russian Tortoise

    NO!!! DON'T DO IT!!!

While its true that they can spread different bacterias among each other it is fairly easy to remedy or prevent this from happening (for instance after extensive tests my sulcatas and deserts were found to have similar bacterias and are housed together no problem).
The issue with your situation is the Russians. They are carriers the herpes virus that though it doesn't harm the Russian tortoise it can and will kill other species of tortoises or reptiles. As far as I know there isn't any test that can determine if the Russian is caring this virus so if you do get a Russian they would need to be in their own enclosure and you would have to be extremely aware of cleanliness and making sure you don't cross contaminate and infect your other reptiles with this virus.
This virus has a 100% mortality rate. There is no cure or treatment.

Now I am not saying only Russians carry this virus. Nor are Russians immune to this virus. It's just that Russians are the ones with the highest chance if having been exposed to it for some reason.

Here is a link about the virus: Tortoise Trust Web - Herpes in Pet Trade Tortoises
