Few Quick Questions

how big should an outside enclosure be for 2 russian tortoises? (is it possible to keep more than 2?)

can somebody link a site that gives a list of plants I could plant in my enclosure for my tortoises to eat?

I'm currently dusting their lettuce with calcium, how will I do this with their enclosure being outside and all of their food comming from growing plants?

Re: Few Quick Questions

I do not know anything about Russian's, but, (and if this is not allowed feel free to delete it) I have found very helpful information about my tortoises (when people here couldn't help me, of course) at Tortoise Forum .org. Good Luck

Re: Few Quick Questions

Am I assuming that you are going to be taking the tortoises in for the winter? It will get too cold out side in pittsburgh for them. Be sure you are feeding greens and not lettuce. Lettuce is very lacking in anything but water.

Your best bet would to start your own garden of greens if you want live plants for them to graze on. They are very easy to grow and you can plant them right in your turtle enclosure.
