Oh That's sad, but it is totally understandable. You're right, of course. There are way too many unwanted and abandoned animals already. They were very cool eggs though

We (they're actually my mom's) have six. Three are very large (around 100 pounds), two females, one male. The other three are much smaller (around 50 pounds), two males, one female). The little female is the one that laid the eggs.

I agree! I see Sulcatas available around here all the time.
Where the heck are they going to keep one in Oklahoma in the winter!
At least our local herp shop has a sign on the tank that reads,...
"GETS HUGE!! PLAN AHEAD!"

That is just the neatest thing. I loved the pics. I can't even imagine the size hole a turtle that size can dig in the yard! LOL I also support your decision to freeze the eggs. You can always donate them to a vet for research too!

they just dont sell them around here,, thankfully. I am not sure though if Seattle does somewhere. However they are on the internet everywhere.
