Toadie, the pet store worker demonstrated how mean these things were, when she put a stick in the cage trying to get him out he latched on like a pit bull and just held on. I was gonna get one when I had a big empty tank, but that tank is gonna be empty for long !

I would probably have one if it weren't for the fact that they need to be housed alone and can get a foot long. I don't have room for one. They're pretty easy to care for though, they just don't like company and will eat lizards smaller than themselves.

Furryscaly, they don't need to be housed alone. Just be sure to get fecials on them first. 2 females or 1 male and 1 female will usualy be just fine. They are some very beautiful geckos and cheap too! Only thing I don't enjoy is that they require Some heightier tanks, instead of longs.

Oh yeah, you can house them with other tokays like that (except two males!), but still, sometimes they won't get along. It depends on the individual personality of the gecko, and the size and arrangement of the cage too.
