Does anyone recommend the exoterra glass terrarium (12x12,18) for a Tokay gecko? Because I'm planning to buy one, but I'm afraid it's going to be to small for my Tokay.

I have had a tokay and for a gecko I must say they get kinda big. I would at least recommend a 18x18x18. Also are you sure you want a gecko that is that aggressive?

The bigger the better, I kept 2 in a 29g tall terrarium.

I know someone who just moved their Tokay into a 55 gal and turned the tank on end. I'm sure she won't mind me sharing her picture. Tokays get big and I'm sure appreciate as much room as you can give them. You can see him in the upper RH corner. The decorating wasn't quite done yet...more plants were getting added the next day I believe. She was just testing the feasability of setting up the tank this way.

I've always wanted a tokay and i'm thinking about getting some soon.

That tank would be okay for a baby but you'll need to move up to a 20 gallon or so when he gets bigger.
