Not yet, had to take my wife to the emergency room last night and she has priority right now. Will take my tokay to the vet in a bit though.

So the verdict is slight mouth rot and blind on both eyes. One of them, the really swollen one, will have to be removed eventually. That's why he wasn't eating and walking around like a drunk person, because he couldn't see a thing. He's still very feisty though.
Since I can't pay for the surgery and won't be able to manually feed him all the time, the vet was kind enough to take him and try to adopt him out.

Thanks for all the tips. I am pretty sad now...like the little guy. Glad he didn't die though!

Thats too bad! It really bites that a pet shop would sell animals like that!
If you don't mind telling me,...what shop was it?

Yeah it's a bummer with my Tokay and I am glad he didn't die. My wife is much better, thanks for the concern!
It was the new Petco in Norman. My brother in law works there and he knows to take care of them, he has several snakes himself, but other employees may not. It may also be the breeder they used because the first Tokay in the store died after only a few days.
Does anyone know of a reputable tokay breeder in Oklahoma?

Reptile Supplies and Exotic Animals is a good place to buy. Good quality animals shipped over night.

However, do a Google search for any reptile shows coming up near you. Usually much cheaper and very healthy animals.

Thanks. Are Leopard Geckos really around $50?? That seems awefully high for me and probably okay for rare morphs, but normal ones, too?

I see normal Leopard Geckos at shows for 15-20 dollars and about 30-40 at shops.
