I'm thinking of getting a tokay or two. I know they are not lizards that like to be handled. Can anyone tell me how hard they are to care for or some info on caring for them?

Re: tokay

They really don't like to be handled. Very cool lizards though. Bite like a bulldog and don't let go. I love the barking too. You know I think i'm gonna get a couple as well. Thanks bud.

Checkout Tokay Geckos for a very basic caresheet.

Re: tokay

Hi I have a tokay and they're not hard to keep just try to keep the right temperature (78 - 86 F during the day and a 10 to 15 degree drop at night) and the humidity levels from 50 to 75, and for food you can give them crickets, worms, locusts, roaches, earthworms, super worms, zophobas, and even pinky mice ( well this depends on the size of the gecko). If you want more information i recommend you the book Quick and easy tokay gecko care from Allen R. Both, and good pair of gloves! lol.
