I used to take care of a trio of cane toads. They're great Really toxic, but great. You can handle them if you must, but wash your hands good afterwards. Their skin isn't so bad though. Its the poison that oozes from their paratoid glands when they're rough housed that makes them dangerous. Toxic enough to kill a dog. Cane toads, also known as giant toads and marine toads, get HUGE. In captivity a diet of insects and mice will do. Yours look a bit scrawny, and I'd change the habitat a bit, it looks pretty dry and looks like an impaction waiting to happen. They only need a dish for water, but one big enough for them to fit in. Dechlorinated water of course. Dirt, reptibark, moss, etc will make good substrates. It doesn'y need to be kept super moist though, but definately not bone dry.

Hope they get a little fatter for you, but not to fat. Try feeding pinkies and waxworms to get some weight on them. How big are they anyway? Keep us updated! (I think the amphibians get less attention than the reptiles )
