HELP PLEASE!Emergency!?

the one time I need to know what this is called I cant remeber,
My little toads butt is on the outside when it should be on the inside. i dont know how long its been like that, he's been eating everyday, he may not have eaten yesterday but the other toad was sitting on his head so I didnt even think about it. i just took them out to take an update picture and noticed he was thinner than the other toad that used to be smaller than him and he had what looked like a dirtclod stuck to his butt. i soaked him in the sink to get most of the dirt off and now he's in a seperate container with moistpaper towels.
what do I do!? is there something I can do to fix it? or does he have to see a vet. i dont think I can afford a vet visit and I dont think the vet near me would know what to do the toad is only about an inch and a half long
paniking!

You mean there's something sticking out of his behind? I'm sorry to say that's very bad. Especially considering that unlike many reptiles, toads don't have any reproductive or excremental organs that can actually protrude from the body. Not sure what the heck could cause what you're seeing, but I think you're right that your vet won't know either. I'll see what I can find out for you though.

yes its coming out of his behind sorta looks like his butts inside out whitish pink colored. i dont want to loose him. should I just leave it alone or try to do something about it it doesnt look like its going to go back on its own. i did put a little water in his container to keep the area from drying out.

i just noticed I have his picture as my avatar still poor little guy,his little butt is having big problems

Think it could be a parasite of some sort and not actually some part of his body? If so, that would be a lot easier to treat, but still a challenge.

Good idea. I've actually seen parasites come out of a frog's butt before, so I'm thinking that might be it. Especially since yor toad is so small. A pic will definately help. Have you tried touching it with a sterile object?

I took a picture I just need to get it to upload now. i thought about touching it with a wet Q-tip but I was afraid of making it worse so I left it alone, is a Q-tip ok or should I use something else?
it really looks like its part of his body

I would put a smidgen of vasoline on your finger a gently push it back in. I know you don't want to hurt him, but if it is a prolapsed rectum, it needs to go back where it belongs.

I've seen that happen in different types of reptiles, but can it happen in amphibians? I wasn't sure.
