I had the same trouble I bought a Bufo Melanostictus and it obviously wasn't one.

It has taken my months, I've had her since Xmas, to assertain that she is in fact a sub species of Bufo Spinulosa.

Here is a pic she looks very like the one you have there. She is aobut 4.5 inches long snout to vent length and is a WC adult specimen.
These are all pics of the same toad on different days when she was in different moods.
I had different ID's for her which also included Marinus, Rococco, and Terrestris.
Her species was determined due the location she was taken from ans at what time of year.
