today I saw my first Swedish toad! "Vanlig Padda" (bufo bufo) translated literally from Swedish it means "ordinary toad" how very poetic. it was terribly cute tho! we tried to get a picture of it but the camera decided to be stupid, you'll have to forgive me... oh well, i'm still excited!

in my defense, we really DID try to take a picture, but the camera took like, a million years to take the picture and it didn't focus. we tried twice and then the little guy had had enough. i think he's living in my garden tho, so i'll try and get him again tomorrow!
