I have a baby beardie who is about 8 weeks old. As is pretty well expected she does not show much interest in her salad. Well, I left a dish of collard greens long enough that they got dried and crispy. The strange thing is that she started munching on those crunchy leaf bits. I have put in fresh collards as well but those she still ignores in favor of the dried ones.

Has anybody else had beardies who like their veggies dried and crispy? Is there any issue with humoring her apparent taste as long as I also have fresh vegetation available?

The man issue is that beardies get much of their water content from their greens. With the dried stuff they are lacking this.

She does have a water bowl and I have seen her drink from it on occasion.
