Hello everyone. So I only found out you could own poison dart frogs as pets about a month ago...and I knew I had to have them. I have a 20 gal hex aquarium from back in my fish days that I was thinking about converting into a dart frog vivarium. I have the original hood that went with it and I was wondering if it could be converted it into a more "frog friendly" hood. Any help and tips on setting up a frog vivarium would be appreciated, since the only other herps I have are desert dwelling king and milk snakes lol.

Dart frogs are very easy to care for once setup and left alone. Seal the top to keep humidity in. Live plants and leaf litter to provide plenty of cover. Look into a false bottom as well so the plants won't drown.
